Evangelization Commission
Chairpersons: Fr. Paschal Ezurike, Ed Schneider
The Evangelization Commission welcomes Catholics new to the area and invites them to regular participation in the parish.
In addition, the Evangelization Commission is responsible for coordinating a
program for returning Catholics called Catholics Come Home [add link]. This group
encourages area neighbors to learn about the Christian faith by attending the
Alpha Course and the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) [add link] which
provide information for those seeking answers about the Catholic Faith. The
commission also provides support for missions worldwide, especially our sister
parish, The Most Holy Trinity, in Romanovka, Russia [add link].
Other events that fall under the umbrella of Evangelization include the National
Day of Prayer, Welcome Sunday Potluck, renewals, and retreats.

Liturgy Commission
Chairpersons:
Besides planning our liturgies, this commission provides other opportunities to actively participate more closely in the Liturgy, including altar servers, extraordinary ministers, lectors, commentators, ushers, church cleaning, altar flowers, and cleaning altar linens. Volunteers are always needed in these areas.

Work Opportunities:
Through work parties everyone has the opportunity to share in the upkeep of our
grounds and buildings. Green thumbs can volunteer to care for small plots or
areas of our grounds during the Spring and Summer.

Health Ministry
Parish Nurse: Judy Bible
This committee provides periodic blood pressure screenings after Masses and an annual flu shot clinic.

Adult Education opportunities include:
- Adult Bible Study

Helping Hands Commission
Chairperson: Diane Snelson
Outreach Coordinators: Fred & Peggy St. Andre
Non-perishable food and household items are collected throughout the year for those in need. A fund is established to help those with emergency needs involving shelter, utility bills, etc.
Other activities include providing Christmas and Easter baskets to the needy, providing meals for ill parishioners and others, visiting the sick, sending cards to ill parishioners and providing transportation to Mass and appointments for those who need it. Each year the parish devotes a portion of its revenue to religious or secular local, national, and international causes.

Other Information
A display of Religious Articles is available after most Sunday Masses in the Hall. We have very reasonable prices on rosaries, bibles, medals, etc.
Vocation Prayer Box is presented to a parishioner or parish family each weekend to keep in their home for a week during which they make a special effort to pray for vocations.
